JOB SUMMARY:

Warehouse Associates are responsible for accurately filling orders, stocking merchandise, ensuring inventory is correct, and supporting the sales team by delivering orders in a helpful, friendly manner. Warehouse Associates are also expected to keep warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately fill all orders and assure paperwork is completed properly.
• Receive and stock merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise inventory is correct.
• Resolve discrepancies.
• Assemble and disassemble showroom displays.
• Organize inventory shelves.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver merchandise to customers including delivery to residential, businesses and job sites, as needed.
• Cross train in all areas of warehouse.
• Contribute ideas and ways to improve and/or optimize warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Work respectfully with the Gross Electric team in a positive environment.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Forklift Certification preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
• Ability to climb up and down multiple steps and ladders.
• Ability to climb in and out of cargo vans.
